This year we got over 1100 mangos from our tree. We have thoroughly enjoyed the mangos, eating and sharing them with others. One of the results of having eaten so many mangos is that there are 100s of mango seeds in our compost pile. Recently the compost pile has started producing new mango trees. There are at least 10 new trees that have poked through the compost and more will definitely be coming. With all the trees coming, we may have many more trees on station and many more mangos when the next drought comes.
