Before heading back to PNG, I got to return to Harlingen, Texas to share at 2 churches and spend a few days relaxing, reflecting and spending time with the Lord in preparation of going back to PNG. Harlingen has a lot of great memories for me: living there for 3 yrs during my residency, the place of my first mission trip and the place where I got my call to missions and PNG. It is also the place where I met the Leiberts, who God has used in many ways in my life and who continue to be a big part of my life, even from afar. Before I left for PNG, they decided that we should have Christmas since I would be in PNG in Dec, so we had Christmas music, presents and Christmas cookies in October. The cookie making got a little crazy, but it was lots of fun. Thanks Dr. and Mrs. Leibert for more great memories.
