Part of what we do here, is we share our knowledge with those who come to visit or serve short time, with the hope that we would encourage and inspire them to go into missions or medicine, or so they would just have an idea of what we do, to pray more for us. The grandson of one of our former missionaries was visiting with his grandparents and he got to spend some time with Ben casting and learning about surgery. Visiting physicians are often here working with us, Candice is from Australia and is an ER trainee there. Matt and her have worked together in the ER the past few weeks, where he has been able to teach her some PNG ER techniques that she might not be familiar with in Australia. When our GS and RD visited, they got a lesson from our Lab Personnel in how to find malaria.
It is always fun to get to share what we do with others who minister with us or pray for us in one way or another. You never know how God might use some of these opportunities.
