The missionaries recently hosted our national church leadership our
District Superintendants and General Board members and spouses for an evening
meal together. It was a great time
of getting to know them a little better and to encourage them. They work hard every day to strengthen
the church here in PNG, developing and implement visions for reaching more
people, starting churches and more.
It is a privilege to serve in God’s Kingdom work together with
them.
It was also a special night as I was reminded of God’s healing power
when I saw Vero Enoch stand up and walk across to her husband. About 6 months ago, Vero was in the
hospital for an unknown illness and was so weak she couldn’t walk. She recovered some in the hospital and
then continued to recover while at home.
I still don’t know what was wrong with her, but you would never know she
was so sick now. She looks great
and their 4th child should be coming in a month or so. God is good.
