The peds ward has a lot of cute kids, and this little girl is sure one of them. She came into the hospital when she became weak and unable to walk. Thankfully, she hasn't gotten worse, one of our fears when someone comes in with sudden weakness or paralysis, but she also isn't getting much better. Her weakness hasn't stopped her from smiling or making a bilum (as she is doing in the pic), but we pray that she will regain her strength and walk again. She is on the first bed in A ward, so this week when I have gone to see a little kid with lymphoma, I have seen her infectious smile. It has served to bring a smile to my face everyday and causes me to stop, chat and pray for her. Would you pray too?

Infectious smile
