This past weekend, I enjoyed the opportunity to visit with friends from medical school. It has been more than 3 yrs since I have seen Bob and Meg, who have 3 kids the same age as Megan and Joe's. Things are a little crazy with 6 kids (or close to 3 sets of twins) under the age of 4. Luke and Josh enjoyed wrestling, Graham and Grace tried to stay out of the way of their older siblings running and wrestling, and Eli and Drew just ate, slept and played with paper. After lunch, we exchanged presents. Somewhere along the lines we started giving each other gag gifts and the tradition has continued, even giving them to their kids. Grace really seemed to enjoy her marker that didn't work, and old medical book, maybe even more than her tea set. All and all it was a great afternoon of fun.
