For 3 days, the McCoys had a porch guest. This chicken, named Sally Mae, just wandered up to their porch and took up residence. It felt comfortable enough that it left them an egg one morning. The McCoys enjoyed her company and tried provided food and water for her, but she seemed to enjoy the freshly planted seeds and cilantro that Bill had near the porch. Unfortunately, Sally Mae didn't do a good job of cleaning up after herself which led the McCoys to find her owner. Whether her owner came and got her or someone else did, we don't know, but we do know that she is no longer living on their porch. Despite the mess she made, she was fun to have around.
