George is getting better.
This kid came in with a severe infection in his brain. He was comatose for a number of days and I
wasn't sure he was going to recover.
Slowly as the swelling around his eye went down, he started moving different
parts of his body. First one leg, then
an arm, then the other leg and arm.
Nothing purposeful, but I was encouraged he was moving. Then he started opening his eyes, but he
wouldn't look at his mom, but more seemed to just be looking through you. Just this past week that has changed, he
smiles and laughs and follows me with his eyes as I examine him and talk with his mom. What a blessing to see him recovering and we
continue to pray for further recovery.
