We currently have a water well that provides well water to part of our station. During the drought, this well didn't have enough water pressure to deliver water to the whole station. In an effort to remedy that, we are working on getting a new well drilled that will be able to provide water to our whole station.
Part of that process is to dig ditches in order to lay pipes to get that water to the whole station. Somehow, men in PNG have an amazing ability to dig straight ditches. Jordan has a group of guys digging ditches throughout the station and have started laying pipes so that when the well is done we will have water going to the whole station. Currently my front yard is mostly full of dirt and has a big ditch going through it, thankfully it is only temporary.
