Madang

5 of us got to travel to Madang for a little vacation earlier this month.  We enjoyed the blue (and pink skies), the warm ocean water, the sunshine and the time away.  We did a lot of snorkeling and played a lot of games.
The weather was pretty much perfect for us.  It rained a bit while we were there, but mostly at night or later in the afternoon, after we had already enjoyed our days outside and so it didn't affect us.  Madang is right on the coast of PNG and has some pretty places to snorkel at.  If you like to scuba dive, it is also a great place for that, but for most of us, snorkeling is still pretty great.

We enjoyed trying out all the different restaurants in Madang and enjoyed not having to cook for ourselves while we were there.  The timing of the Radcliffes, Pringles and Scott Dooley coming, made it possible for all of us to go at the same time.  Rebecca had just finished teaching High School to the Missionary Kids and so was thankful for a break after the school year.  The Myatts and Daniel have only been in the country for a few months, but still enjoyed getting to see a different part of PNG and of having some time away.

I don't always get to go on vacation with others, it can just be hard to coordinate schedules that make it possible to be gone at the same time, so this was fun to do it with a group of us.
