Easter Sunday

After our sunrise service, I got a chance to talk to my family and wish them a Happy Easter before I joined the Myers and Becky for a nice Easter dinner. Ham, cabbage and a roll made up most of what I ate, but I also ate some mashed potatoes and pumpkin - quite a change from my first Easter here. (I did pass on the green beans)
After our dinner, we had our English Lotu service. Becky did a drama with some of the missionary kids depicting Christ's crucifixion and His taking the one thief to Paradise. It was quite moving. Following this, Geneva Silvernail, the principal of the Bible College, challenged us to see with God's eyes. To love and care for others as Christ would and to not give in to the temptation of an eye for an eye, but to love as Christ loved us on the cross. Quite challenging for me especially as I think of different patient situations where I know I could respond differently.
