The young adults gathered at the Thompsons for a New Year's Eve get together. We had a potluck dinner and then played a number of games - guys against girls. The guys were at a slight disadvantage with having someone from Australia and New Zealand on their team, but they still put in a good effort. After some games, they sang Happy Birthday to me, and we enjoyed the birthday cake that Becky made. Then we continued to play games and talk until midnight. Outside of being on call, I am usually in bed by 9 or 9:30, so I didn't expect to be up at midnight even if it was NYE, but I did make it. Happy New Years to you all.
