Olympics at Kudjip
Bill spotted one of PNG’s top sprinters, Toea Wisil, in the line waiting to be seen and started talking to her. She is one of PNG’s hopefuls for Olympic Gold in London this year in the 100m and 200m sprints. She is from a village right around Kudjip, but mostly lives in Brisbane where she trains. Bill challenged her to a 100 foot dash in our clinic this afternoon. The other patients didn’t fully understand what was happening, but they still thought it was fun. PNG has never won an Olympic Gold Medal - this maybe the year. Go PNG.
