Ely and Kelsey had wanted to do some hiking when they got here, but with call schedules and other things, it never worked until just before they left. A group of us went to a nearby bat cave. We had very nice sunny weather on the uphill hike to the cave, and very rainy weather on the way out from the cave.

The Walkers, the Elerdings, Tim, Randy, Don and I were those who went on the hike, along with John and his relatives as our guides. I had been to the cave 5 yrs ago, but enjoyed the opportunity to get back in there again. Thankfully, there wasn't a whole lot of water in the cave, but there was a lot of guano from the bats which was nice and squishing when you put tried to get a handhold as we trekked through the cave. We all got wet and muddy, but had a good time.
