Back at Kudjip

Following 3 weeks of vacation back home with family and friends, I spent the almost 2 days on a plane and in the airport in order to return to PNG and to serve at Kudjip.  Not that I expected anything to change, but after being in the US, at times I forget what greets me when I get back home.

It didn't take long for me to remember.   100 patients each day waiting to see a doctor, tuberculosis of eyes, lungs and hearts, kids with pneumonia and diarrhea, 5 year olds looking after 2 year olds, illnesses that leave us scratching our heads wondering what is happening, machete chops, stab wounds and more.  It has been good to be back.  Keep praying for God to change hearts and lives in PNG through the work of the hospital.
