A few weeks ago, she was in our hospital with malnutrition
and was close to death. Antibiotics and attentive
care by our staff and her family helped to restore her back to health
again. Her weight, which was 10 lbs at
18 months has gone up 4 lbs in just a few weeks. She still is scared of me, but is willing to shake my hand and she is growing
and her mom is all smiles. It is great to see someone make it, malnutrition is a killer here, but thankfully, this little one came out on the other side of it.
