I took a walk down to the hydro recently to see how things were progressing. Not a lot has changed on the top end. Some more concrete has been poured on the far end. The dam isn't complete yet, as they are waiting for the installation of the gates, which just arrived this week
(under the blue tarp). Once the gates are up, then they can finish the dam itself and start sending water down the canal. Guys are working hard now to finish the power house at the bottom of the canal and penstock. The penstock pipe is what diverts the water down into the powerhouse, which will then have a turbine in it and will generate electricity for the hospital and station. There is still more work to do, but we are getting closer. Earl and his guys are doing a great job. Keep praying for them as they work to finish the project.
