I got to spend a few days in Olympic National Park with Megan. We got a little wet, but really enjoyed seeing all the different parts of God's beauty up in this corner of the US that is very far away from PA.
The old growth forests were pretty amazing, with the huge trees and moss covered rocks. Walking on the beach in pants and a rain jacket was a lot different than the beaches we are use to in New Jersey, but the driftwood was definitely a nice touch. The drive up to Hurricane Ridge and seeing the mountains was really nice, we wish we had more time to actually spend more time there. We did enjoy kayaking on Lake Crescent in 40 degree weather, thankfully we didn't fall in.
It was definitely a great few days.
