Mantry

Mantry is a lady who came in last week very sick. When she came in she had delivered a baby 10 days earlier, but her placenta had stayed inside. She was anemic with a hgb of 4.3, and had sepsis. After giving her antibiotics, and blood, Dr. Bill and I performed a D & C. We were not able to remove all of the retained placenta. Along with the sepsis, she developed pulmonary edema and oliguria. We continued with the antibiotics and much prayer, and by God's grace she is doing well today - 1 week after admission. Keep praying for her as Dr. Jim is planning on doing surgery (repeat D&C, and tubal ligation) as soon as tomorrow.
