Cyanide kid doing well

A month ago, he was moments from death after eating beans laced with cyanide.  The cyanide antidote medicine we gave him was a lifesaver.  He stayed in the hospital for 2 days and went home on Christmas Eve.  I wasn't sure I would ever see him again, but one day before lunch I found him in Bill's room.

He came back with his dad, because he still wasn't fully okay, as dad put it.  His speech was slower and he didn't talk as much as before.  He also wasn't as agile as he was before the beans.  There was nothing on exam that we found, but we had him see Patty, a volunteer PT here with her husband  for their 4th time.  Patty gave him some exercises to strengthen his muscles and encouraged him to keep working at it.

His smile was as big as ever, he looked great compared to how he looked when he faced death.  I just praise God for his life and for having the medicines we needed to treat him.  Thanks to many of you who sent in money to make it possible for us to replenish our supply of antidote meds for the next time.
