A medical conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand, every 2 yrs, gives me an opportunity to see other parts of the world and to get out of PNG every once in a while. I only go every 4 yrs to the conference, so that all of us have a chance to go, but it is great fun when I do go.
One
of the fun things to do in Chiang Mai is to go to the night market
shopping. We don’t have night markets in
PNG, nor do we really have shopping choices, so a chance to see something new
is kind of fun. Bill and Jim enjoyed the
ice cream stop, Marsha and Kathleen enjoyed all the shops, I was happy to find
some elephant paintings to decorate my house, so it was a success for all.
