Twins were born about 10 days ago in the hospital. I had done an ultrasound on the mom about 2 days prior to delivery and then Dr. Bill delivered the babies while on call. I had been caring for the babies while rounding on B ward for the last number of days, and had told mom that I was a twin. Typically they don't name babies until they go home, but I asked mom yesterday what their names were. She said they didn't have names, but thought the boy would be Junior Samson, after dad. I told her I liked the name Erin for the girl. Today I went back to visit the babies again and asked mom about the girl and her name. She asked me to write my name on the babies scalebook (clinic card), that she would name the baby Erin. So there is now a baby Erin in PNG.
