New OPD Screening/Waiting Area

Every year we have around 55,000+ patients who come to Nazarene Hospital to be seen by our nurses and doctors, this is around 180+ patients each M-F.  For many of our patients, this is the only part of our hospital that patients need, because thankfully they don't need the Emergency Room or to be admitted, they just need to be seen and cared for by a nurse or doctor, given medicine and get to head home.  As we looked at what needed done in our Hospital Expansion Project, we wanted to improve the area that serves the most patients each year.

So we have now been able to create an area that gives our patients a little more privacy, as well as nurses the opportunity to exam the patients well, prior to send them to see a doctor if needed.  We have increased the size of our waiting area and soon will have large TVs up to show the Jesus Film and other Health Educational videos.  There is more to be done in our OPD area with new Surgery clinical and Chaplain spaces, but for now, we are going to make the most of this area.
