Silla is a little girl from the Jimi Valley (far away), who came to our hospital after relatives noticed that she was losing weight and wasn’t getting better. They tell me she is 7, but she weighs only 12kg (about 26lbs). This picture doesn’t show how little she is. Her ribs are all showing and there is no muscle on her arms or legs. She is little. Her chest xray confirmed that she has tuberculosis in her lungs, and she is now on treatment for that. She is also getting some extra nutrition in an effort to put some meat on her bones. Her family members welcome your prayers for her. Pray for her to gain weight, for the TB treatment to work, for her to recover and to come and know the Lord while she is here.
